Terms and Conditions
- Age: To apply for a commission with me, you must be at least 18 years old. Are you younger? Then a parent or guardian must apply for the commission and the contact goes through them.
- Contact: You can always contact me for a commission. I make all kinds of characters, animals or still lifes and am open to new subjects. My specialties are; fantasy, horror, victorian and steampunk. Also feel free to ask me to design your OC's or DnD/Baldur's Gate 3 characters. If you want me to draw something with a different subject, feel free to ask. If I think I can do it, I will draw it for you.
- Delivery: With a commission you will receive the digital file and/or a printed version, depending on your preference. A drawing can also be printed on a product. The costs for this are in addition to the design costs.
- Shipping and Quality: If I have to print your commission as a print or product, I always check the quality first and pack the product carefully. If it is lost or damaged during delivery, I am not responsible. I can send a new product, but the costs are for you. Insured shipping is possible at an additional cost. You can also pick up your printed commission at a con. I can also send you the digital file, so that you can print it yourself. Please note that you may only print it for your own use. You may not resell the design or have it printed in large quantities.
- Traditional Work: If traditional work gets damaged or lost, I am not responsible. I always provide a high quality scan of the traditional work. I can send this to you or print it out for you, at your own expense. You can also pick up traditional work at my home or at a con.
- Rights: All rights of the illustration remain mine. I always have the right to place your commission on my socials or in my portfolio. If you absolutely do not want this, then you pay extra and I will not place it online.
- Share on social media: If it is a gift for someone else, I am willing to wait with sharing the drawing on my socials, until the drawing has been given to that person. If there is another reason why it may not be shared on social media yet, please report that reason to me.
- Credit: If you want to share the work on social media, you must always credit me and preferably tag me.
- Exclusivity: Your commission is exclusive to you, meaning I am not allowed to further produce or sell the commission.
- Usage: If you have a digital file from the commission, you may only print it out for yourself. You may NOT resell the illustration or distribute it online (except for social media, where you give me credits and tag me). Otherwise it is plagiarism and therefore not allowed.
- Payment: When giving a commission I ask for 50% of the amount in advance.
- Instructions: It is your responsibility to clearly describe what you want. If I have to make changes that were not clear in the instructions, it will cost extra. If it is my mistake, the change is free. I always try to get your instructions clear for myself, so if something is unclear to me. I will ask you about it.
- Feedback: While working on an illustration, you will receive 2-3 rounds of feedback, depending on the difficulty of the assignment. For additional feedback moments, you can purchase additional rounds. Feedback is based on your instructions. Major changes or additional objects/characters cost extra.
- Cancellation by me: I always have the right to cancel a commission if I think I can't complete it. You will of course get your money back including the deposit.
- Cancellation by you: If you want to cancel the commission after I have started, you will lose the 50% deposit and get the digital file as is. If you cancel before I have started, you will pay a 15% cancellation fee. Think carefully before you send me a commission.
- Waiting list: If you want a commission, you contact me. I will ask you some questions and determine a price. If you agree, you will be put on the waiting list, which can be up to 8 weeks. As soon as I can start your assignment, I will contact you again and you will pay the 50% deposit.
- Priority: Is your illustration a priority? Then you pay 25% extra. The delivery time depends on the difficulty of your illustration.
- Usage: All commissions given are for personal use. For commercial use you must always contact us first; prices will be different.
- Not satisfied?: If you are not satisfied with the final result of the committee, we will discuss it together to see how we can come to a solution. However, I do not give money back, as I give enough room for feedback in the process. But I do want to see what I can do to come to a solution that we are both satisfied with.
Commissions I don't do:
- Hyperrealistic paintings (so no paintings of your parents, grandparents, pets, children, grandchildren or other realistic portraits).
- NSFW content.
- Committees that I do not feel are a good fit for or that I have too little experience with.
