Mentorships
Do you want to learn how to draw (digitally)? Or do you want to go to an art academy but are stuck with putting together a convincing portfolio? Or do you want to sell your work at cons and have no idea where to start? Then my mentorship is for you!
In my mentorship I create a lesson program tailored to you. Whether you are a complete beginner or have been doing it for a while. I make sure I have a lesson program that fits your needs!
How can I apply for a mentorship?
After you contact contact me, I will ask for your portfolio. I will review and assess this. I will send you a form with some questions, so that I can get a good idea of what you would like to learn and achieve. Once I have all the information from you, I will draw up a lesson plan.
Then I will explain in a video call what I am going to teach you and what the process will look like. This conversation is completely without obligation and free of charge. The duration of the process depends on what you want to learn and how far you have come. The number of lessons is only an advice. You can choose to take more or fewer lessons yourself. If you agree to the lessons and enter into the payment obligation, the lessons will start.
What do the lessons look like & what will I learn?
The lessons are usually once a week (in consultation it can also be once every 2 weeks), and they will take place online via video calling. Physical lessons are not possible for now. In my mentorship I try to listen carefully to your wishes and give appropriate exercises. So keep in mind that you have to do homework.
In the lesson itself you will first get a bit of theory, and sometimes I will give a demonstration or exercises. I will discuss the homework you have done with you and you will then get homework again. Often the lessons will be about an hour to two hours. Depending on the lesson material and your learning needs. What you will learn depends on what you want to learn and how much effort you show yourself.
During the week you can always ask me questions via discord and I will do my best to help you as soon as possible.
What are the costs of the mentorships?
Per lesson I ask €50,-. I will make a proposal in advance how many lessons I think I need to teach you everything you want to learn. You are always free to take more or less lessons.
You can pay per lesson, or I will make a special trajectory price for you. This is relatively cheaper than if you pay per lesson.

I struggled with digital painting for years. Whatever I made, it never looked the way I wanted it to. I was already familiar with digital drawing since I work as a 2D animator, but I still never got the hang of digital painting.
Denise helped me tremendously. Her instruction helped me understand Photoshop and its many features much better. Denise also helped me see the differences and similarities between digital and traditional painting, which allowed me to use the knowledge I already had about traditional painting on the digital canvas. Since taking her course, I can finally create the digital paintings I always wanted to create.

Previously I thought that making a portrait would take me weeks, now I know that the painting part will go much faster. This gives me confidence that I can do it.
