Illustration commission

These are fully developed commissions available in various styles. All prices are starting prices for a single character drawing. Under "Extras," you can add features to your illustration, such as additional characters, animals, props, and a complex background. A simple background is included as standard. If you don't want a background, please let us know in your request.

Simple background = flat colors or light gradients, patterns or textures and a frame.
Medium complex background = Objects, simple animals and/or a blurred, sketchy/not fully rendered environment.
Complex background = Fully detailed background, complete environment, background characters and/or animals.

I determine what I consider a simple, medium, or complex background. Most character-focused illustrations will have a simple or medium complexity background. Complex backgrounds are most common in environment-focused illustrations. I have starting prices for each background; prices can increase if the background becomes more complex. This is always discussed with the client, of course.

All prices are based on personal use. If you want to use my artwork for commercial purposes, there will be an additional charge. I indicate the potential costs for each style. However, the commercial purpose also determines the appropriate pricing.

Also keep in mind that if you commission me to create a character illustration for you, you must already have a design and/or good reference material. If you don't have a design yet, you'll also have to pay me for the character design. See "character design" for more information and pricing.

Would you like to request a series of commissions? For example, a character design + illustration, or a series of illustrations? You'll receive a project fee. The amount depends on the assignment, but it will be slightly less expensive than individual illustrations. Contact me for this as well.

Line art style

My cleanest style. This style is line art-heavy, meaning the lines are a key element of the final illustration. This style features a combination of cels and soft shading. Want your illustration in flat colors only? That's also possible. You can then deduct 50% of the total price.

Cartoony painty style

Dit is mijn meest geëxperimenteerde stijl. Deze stijl heeft vaak felle cartoony kleuren en met weinig line art. De kleuren zijn meer geblend in combinatie met diverse brushstrokes. Deze stijl kan het meest verschillen in complexiteit. Vaak kijk ik per werk hoeveel details het nodig heeft en wat past bij het design. De stijl kan wat ruwer uitgewerkt zijn tot geblende kleuren.
